9:30 am, la quinta inn, dallas texas.
this lady came up to me and shane and wanted to talk to me about my tattoos. she asked if we were brothers cause we have "the same face". we said we were not brothers, and eventually told her we were in a band that was from DC. she said that she was on her way to DC. it turns out her ex lives in fredricksburg and works in DC and took her kids from her. she was on her way to get them back. she then asked if we needed a driver. we laughed and said, "no thanks." she said she "wasn't kidding, and was not afraid to ask because she was broke. we again declined the generous offer. then she tried to sweeten the deal by telling us that she would bring her 3 cats and "big black dog". the same big black dog that keeps "getting mistaken for a wolf" and "got her "kicked out of another motel". this was very, very tempting, but we stuck to our guns and wished her luck. strange people rule.
